In her first self-produced effort, Pittsburgh's Gab Bonesso is telling her story about her life-long struggles with mental health in a hysterical, highly-personal, comedy album which includes standup, stories and an original song featuring Gab's bandmate: Josh Verbanets. Half of the proceeds of this album are being donated. 25% is going to Disability Pride PA & 25% is going to the Humor Therapy Fund in Scranton, PA.
One final note: This album is dedicated to the late, GREAT Richard Lewis. Richard Lewis was the original Mental Health comedian and he was a big part of my confidence in continuing with comedy. As a young comedian I had the opportunity to work with him for three separate weekend performances. He was so kind and giving with his praise for my work. His words have carried me through my deepest depressions and my most volatile manic episodes. Rest in Peace, good sir. I hope my Mom isn't bugging you too much in the next dimension.
